Hi my name is Mark, I have walked two Caminos and enjoyed meeting and experiencing new people and villages in Spain. My wife and I decided to live in France for a while so we could immerse ourselves in the village life. Our trip has enabled us to visit many areas of France and Spain and look forward to a new adventure. I have a mechanical background and enjoy building and maintenance work around the house.

Mark -because I have walked two Caminos, I started to learn Spanish and have an interest in improving and being able to speak more fluently. As we have been living in France, I have started to pick up some basic French. Angela - I too walked the Caminos with Mark and tried to learn some Spanish, but as we were headed to France for 12 months, I put a lot of my effort into learning French. I am still at the early beginner stage but would love to become more fluent. We are both happy to teach English or enable people to practice their pronunciation, etc

Mark - I have a mechanical engineering background, I enjoy building in the lines of carpentry, plastering, concreting, gardening, painting (as we built our own house with the help of my brothers) but continue to look after all the maintenance around the house. I enjoy cooking! I have experience in hospitality, recently working in a winery/restaurant - responsibilities included Front of House, food service, kitchenhand, wine tasting, grape harvesting and limo driver. I am now retired but still enjoy working around the house and in the winery.

Angela - I have a teaching background, working with long term unemployed and students re-entering the workforce, preparing them for the work environment. Teaching Office skills including office equipment, communication skills, work ethics, work health and safety and computer software eg Word, Excel. I retired and went to work in a Winery (same place as Mark), conducting wine tastings, front of house and restaurant service. I enjoy helping Mark with tasks around the house, I can paint and I can lay concrete! I'm a good labourer he says.

We both enjoy spending time outdoors, we like camping, walking, BBQs. We love to travel and experience new places and the people. We enjoy sitting with a glass of wine, chatting and laughing with our friends. We have 4 wonderful grandchildren who keep us busy.
