We're thrilled to join the Workaway community! Our motivation stems from a desire to explore new cultures and break away from my daily office routine (both of us are working as software engineers).
We love DIY projects, whether creating or repairing things, and find great joy in hands-on work.
We're excited to contribute ourskills, learn new ones, and connect with hosts and fellow travelers.We both see this way of travelling as a chance to immerse ourselves in different communities, share stories and contribute something meaningful.

We’re both naturally curious, hardworking, and enjoy staying active with hands-on projects.
Our Skills & Experience:
Animal Care & Pet Sitting – We both love animals! Eva have lived with 7 dogs and 2 cats, so she is comfortable with any pet while Mark has a particular soft spot for cat sitting :)
Gardening – Despite limited space, We're maintaining a small balcony garden, and we’re both keen to get our hands dirty with more gardening and outdoor work.
Electronics & Mechanical Repairs – Mark has solid experience in low-voltage electronics and regularly works on repairing and maintaining his own cars. He’s handy with mechanical and automotive repairs.
DIY & Carpentry – We both enjoy DIY projects be it woodworking, painting, sanding, etc.
Cooking & Housekeeping – Both of us love cooking and we’re the kind of people who oddly enjoy tackling tough cleaning jobs. Whether it’s scrubbing down a neglected space or bringing order to chaos, we tend to lose ourselves in the process and find it surprisingly satisfying!
Languages – Both of us speaks Hungarian and English, we are beginners in Swedish, while Eva is also speaking German, Italian, and beginner Spanish.

What else ...
We're excited to spend this year travelling in Europe with only our car, visiting different cultures and places. The plan is to move to Scandinavia, but we've not set deadlines and destinations - we will see where life takes us :)
