I live in New Zealand with my wife and daughter on a small farm where we grow fruit & veges and keep sheep & chickens. We love the Spanish language. I teach maths & English; Kanani is an artist.

Description

I love learning languages, conversation, walking, talking, playing and sharing experiences. I've turned my hand to many different things from teaching to business to farming. I'm keen to try new things and to make more new friends. I'm cheerful and easy-going, ready to listen to other people's perspectives and to share my own. Living on a small farm, my wife and I have many skills associated with growing, animals, building, maintenance and problem-solving. We have lots of experience with teenagers and young children.

I was a school principal for 14 years and taught many different subjects. I currently teach English to overseas students via Zoom on a part-time basis. Before that my career was in finance in the UK. I have a 14 acre life style block so I am used to working outdoors and fixing things! I am fit, i can cook and tell stories, and I find it easy to fit in and work along side other people.

I love listening to audio books and podcasts - and discussing them. I run games of Dungeons & Dragons for people all over the world. I work at my knowledge of physics, philosophy, history, biology and politics every week. Food, music, drama, croquet and company are all high on my list of likes.
