Description
My name is Marisa Rodrigues, I am 38 years old and I am Portuguese. I have been fortunate enough to travel to more than 30 countries, an experience that has given me a broad and enriching view of the world. Each country visited has brought me new learnings, fascinating cultures, and the opportunity to capture incredible
moments through my passion for photography and video creation. These travels have allowed me to develop a deep appreciation for the diversity and beauty of our planet and reinforced my belief in the importance of empathy and intercultural understanding.
Since 2016, I have been volunteering at a hospital where I tell stories to sick children. This experience has been incredibly rewarding, both for me and for the children. Through stories, we can transport ourselves to magical worlds, offering them moments of joy and hope, alleviating some of the challenges they face daily.
Volunteering has a transformative power, not only in the lives of those who receive but also in the lives of those who give. It teaches us the importance of solidarity,
compassion, and love for others.
I am someone who loves the beach, walking, reading, going to the cinema, traveling, and meeting new people and cultures. I believe these activities keep me curious, open, and in constant personal growth. I am proactive and have a keen interest in learning about personal development and self-knowledge, as I believe that by knowing ourselves better, we can contribute more significantly to society.
I am excited about the possibility of engaging in new volunteer opportunities where I can apply my skills, learn even more, and, above all, make a difference. I believe that the combination of my travel experiences, passion for capturing moments, and my commitment to volunteering make me a dedicated and enthusiastic candidate.
