Hello! I'm Marilena, a nature lover, avid reader, swimmer, and aspiring theatre enthusiast with a deep curiosity about the world. I’m the kind of person who finds peace in a quiet forest, but I’m also energized by the excitement of learning something new. I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty and embrace new experiences, whether that’s trying out local traditions, exploring unknown places, or challenging myself with new skills. Currently, I’m studying in China for a year, and I’m excited to immerse myself even further in Asian culture. My main goal is to contribute to making the world a cleaner and more sustainable place, in line with the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). I believe that every small step counts in creating a better planet for future generations.
Vietnam fascinates me because of its rich history, culture, and environmental practices. I’m eager to learn more about how local communities tackle sustainability challenges and find ways to contribute positively. Whether it’s through hands-on work or learning new practices, I want to help create a more sustainable future and connect with others who share this vision. I bring a variety of skills to the table, including proficiency in English, good knowledge of French, Spanish, and Chinese, while Italian is my mothertongue. I’m ready to teach English to those who want to improve their skills, and I’m eager to continue learning more languages along the way. I’m also experienced in video editing, social media management, and using design tools like Canva, Power Point, all of which I’ve applied through my work with the ESN Roma Luiss association in Rome. Furthermore, having studied abroad before and currently living in China, I’ve developed a strong ability to adapt to new environments. I’m always eager to embrace new cultures, navigate challenges, and make the most of every opportunity.
