Description
I'm motivated by the drive to be a better person, a more awake person, a funnier person, and a more creative one. From a young age I've studied philosophy, spirituality, literature, and the psychological life arts. I love poetry and write in just about every genre (I even made a bad album of folk songs once.) It's on my bucket list to do some serious travel so I can experience this wonderful opportunity of seeing the world while I'm alive. Life would be much worse without other people and I take my promises and commitments to them seriously. Living together with others is a joy and privilege. It also just makes life fun. A normal day for me looks like: writing, reading, chatting and coffee/tea with friends, a long walk, a tasty meal, meditation, and some exploration. My favorite things are deep conversations, humor, and emotional connection, but I'm pretty easy to please with any kind of goodness.

My background is in literature and counseling, so anything involving English, writing, or mental health is welcome. I'm a happy laborer at most things (I've done plenty of yardwork, cleaning, a bit of gardening, service industry jobs, minor cooking, etc.) I've also worked with children of all ages as a substitute teacher and with middle schoolers at a therapeutic boarding school. I'm ready to learn how to do anything.
