Description
Heyhey, I ´m Maria, 18 years old and from the South of Germany. This spring I finished school and I am now in my gap year. From october to december I ´m travelling to New Zealand, specifically the Auckland, Wellington and Hastings areas.
I ´m very excited about getting to know the country, its people, your culture and the nature. I am ready to work/help on a farm, since I ´ve been riding for years and working in a stable in my holidays, where I also teach children how to ride. I would be happy stay in a family for some time, since I love spending time with children.
Baking and cooking is one of my safespaces, I love food and I ´d love to learn new recipes or share my own.
Otherwise I ´m eager to learn new skills regarding gardening and everything around the household.

Maria is a charming and delightful young lady with a maturity beyond her years. She was happy to get down and dirty with the many weeds on our orchard which looks much better now than it did before she came. She also helped by cleaning windows, a job that not many people enjoy!

Maria was a true blessing for our busy family, and from the moment she arrived, she was helpful and engaging with all our kids (and even tolerated a failed dinner sauce that we served her for our first meal together ;-)).
