Hello! my name is z (like zee) I love being immersed in different cultures and learning all about how they sustain themselves, interact socially, materially and much more. In university I studied cultural anthropology and glass art to fulfill my passions. Some things I like include longboarding, glass working, surfing, speaking french, anything related to music, learning new things, experiencing culture, making connections, living naturally, and generally working with my hands. I, z, am primarily a glass artist, though I have learned the very basics of other trades like simple woodworking, welding, blacksmithing, ceramics and various other crafts. My other skills include knowledge of french culture and communication, and just in general I'm quick to pick up new language skills and cultural awareness. As well I am a certified TEFL instructor and have interest and experience in teaching other areas like glass and longboarding.

I pride myself on my ability to communicate well with others, and listen comprehensively. That being said, I also enjoy working with people with special needs, children and other animals. I have experience in manual labor and heavy lifting, as well as confidence in basic power tool usage (and interest in learning more about tools and machinery). And most importantly, I’m able to work well with others to complete a task the most efficient way possible, learning and growing all the while. In these trying times I would also like to add that I've learned a lot about acceptance, tolerance and empathy, and how to apply these teachings in proactive and innovative ways.

Even though we don't have experience in every type of work, we are quick and eager learners and are prepared to accomplish any task! We thoroughly enjoy learning from other people, and experiencing new communities and practices. It truly is our passion and are ready, and thrilled, to embrace it!
