Helllo! My name is Mak! I’m from Canada, and have been living on the west coast for the last couple of years with heaps of travel in between!
I practice vegetarianism and maintain a healthy active lifestyle. Total adrenaline junky, I adore new adventures that push my limit physically, mentally and creatively. I love long-distance running, hiking, scuba diving, yoga, surfing and reading. Creatively, I practice fire poi, PAINT and do photography, which I have a diploma in. I love plants and love learning about maintaining, harvesting, and foraging.
I love To work in careers that involve the ocean. I’ve worked as a lifeguard, swim instructor and surf instructor!
I am Currently in New Zealand working on a boat assisting with whale tours, whilst independently studying for my QDC which I’ll be completed in a couple of months:)

I am a certified photographer, very good at gardening, cleaning, and organizing. I am a very enthusiastic worker, listen to instructions and am a fast learner. I am very respectful and am good at juggling multiple tasks at a time. I have worked in serving, restaurants, bars, banquet halls/golf courses and retirement homes. I have also worked as a lifeguard, swim and surf instructor. I am CPR C certified and also have my ISA rescue and wilderness first aid certificates.
