Hi, I’m Maartje!

Adventurous, open-minded, and passionate about discovering new cultures — that’s me in a nutshell. With a background in Applied Psychology and over 10 years of experience as a restaurant server, I’ve learned to connect with people easily and adapt to any situation.
I’ve volunteered as a teacher in Zambia and Cambodia and worked on organic farms in Italy and Thailand. I love discovering new cultures and connecting with locals.

Cooking is my passion — it’s like meditation for me. I even run a small baking business at home, selling pastries and homemade granola. I also enjoy dancing, yoga, and expressing my creativity, like painting murals at schools in Africa.

I’m social, helpful, and always up for a challenge. I can’t wait to share skills, learn new things, and make unforgettable connections on my next adventure!
