Description
Since September 2022, we (Joost and Maaike) have been travelling on our bikes for an indefinite time. We left our comfortable home and jobs to embark on this adventure, a dream come true! Back home (Leiden, the Netherlands), Maaike worked on reducing the plastic (pollution) problem and Joost worked on accelerating the energy transition. We both love outdoor sports (surfing, bouldering, hiking) and like to be outside and meet new people. We both care greatly about nature and preserving the world around us, and feel that cycling is the best way to enjoy the beauty in the world while holding on to these ideals.

During our trip we have visited several eco-/ community projects in the south of Portugal. We worked ar two Workaways in Andalucia, and helped to build a self sufficient permaculture project in Tuscany.

We look forward to learn more about (eco) agriculture, permaculture, creative/building projects, meeting new people and discovering beautiful new places along the way. We hope you will be part of our adventure!
