Description

We are Lysann (19) and Magnus (20) from Germany and just finished school in summer 2023.
It was a dream and long term plan of both of us to visit Canada because we wanted to experience the cultural differences and meet the people of Canada. The versatile Landscape has facinated us for a long time. Our travels have brought us to Toronto, Flesherton, Ottawa, Montreal, Mattawa and now Edmonton and Calgary. We plan on visiting Banf National Park and Jasper National Park before we leave for British Columbia to see Vancouver, Vancouver Island and all the hidden gems on it.
We both have some work experinece through internships and jobs as ancillary workers and are eager to leran as well as willing to work hard.
In our free time we like to go on hikes and explore the nature as well as visiting museums or stroll around interesting buildings in the cities. We love to read and are currently learning french and latin.

Lysann has experience in inventory management, because she is working in a museum as volunteer since 5 years. Aside from that, the last months since end of school she worked at the checkout in a supermarket. When she was little, she often looked after the horses and got riding lessons at a riding stable owned by friends. She has experience in works around the house and the garden.

Magnus has some experience in making firewood, gardening and planting trees from his interships aswell as medium experience as a cashier. Also he can help on small construction projects by pouring concrete or laying tiles from his internship as a construction worker. Although my knowledge is limited in this field I would like to take care of animals.

Rising interest in chess. Like to do physical activities and workouts. Interested in ice skating and computer games. Love to watch a good film or series. Learn about local nature and animals. But most importantly: thankful for the opportunity of such adventure.
