Hello my name is Luisa, I work in a community garden in the UK predominantly running gardening wellbeing sessions for asylum seekers/refugees and people struggling with their mental health. I also help with growing crops, running workshops, supporting people with disabilities and growing flowers. I love the work I do and believe that strong communities bring joy to the world.

I am a friendly individual with a passion for sustainability and natural spaces. I love spending time outside with new people, animals and learning new skills. I'm particularly interested in learning new natural crafts and anything flower related. I am a calm, positive empathic person, a good listener, problem solver and not afraid of hard work. I am warm, open and curious for new experiences.

I love drawing, hiking, gardening, music and swimming in lakes. basically anything in beautiful natural locations is my favourite! I also love animals and would enjoy learning more about animal care!

I'm spending a month in Colombia and a month in Ecuador and keen to improve my very bad spanish and get involved in some projects and meet new people on my adventure.

I run gardening wellbeing sessions and I've worked in the community garden for 4 years now and have gained a good knowledge of growing food, flowers and running small workshops. I have a big interest in flowers and have recently gained a qualification in floristry and have been selling flowers at a local market.
I am interested in learning more about herbal medicines and permaculture as I only have a basic knowledge in these areas.
I love being outside and have helped build and design simple gardens.
I previously worked as a mural artist and graphic designer for 7 years and although I don't work in this industry anymore I still draw regularly and would love to help with any interior decoration or mural painting needed. I am a creative person and flourish best in creative and natural spaces.
