Hi, I am Bea! I am currently studying international relations at Leeds university so I am very interested in working for a charity and would like as much experience seeing how charities run and how they work.
Hi I am Lucy! I am studying geography with ocean science at Plymouth university. I love sustainability and learning about how large scale projects can be sustainable. I would love to gain some experience working with a NGO and learn more about the operations behind the scenes.

Me and Lucy met teaching English in Sri Lanka for 5 months. We became friends quickly as we both share the same interests and skills. we worked well as a team, our main tasks were lesson planning, teaching lessons in schools and afternoon classes and doing extra things within the community such as helping build gardens and painting play equipment. We are both confident working with children, teaching English or running activities and both have experience working with vulnerable children. I (Bea) also work at a children's activities camp in the UK. I have also done four workaways before with different friends, one working with children, two based on agriculture and one working in a hostel. I have loved all of them and would love to do more!
We both love to travel and meet new people! We are both interested in sustainability and volunteering and hope to have a great workaway experience this summer :)
