Hi, I'm Lorena, I'm Chinese and I've had many AMAZING experiences through workaway. And I found that I am very interested in early childhood education, so I am also taking courses in early childhood education during my exchange program at ELTE University in Hungary!
Also, I have a Chinese teaching license, so if you are interested in Chinese language and culture, I would like to share more~
My timeline in Europe:
2021, January-June:
I was an exchange student in Finland while working as a nanny for a Finnish family, taking care of pets, doing housework, etc.
2021, October-2022 December:
Master's degree in Italy while working part-time in a restaurant. Worked as a nanny and taught Chinese to Italian/French families.
2022, Jan-June:
I participated in many Erasmus youth exchange activities and met many European youths, at the same time, I founded the NGO "Chinese Youth in Europe", which is dedicated to promote the cultural exchange between Chinese youths and European youths.
2022, June-July:
volunteered at a summer camp at a Montessori kindergarten in Hungary.
2023, January-June:
internship in Finland.
2023, September-now:
exchange student at ELTE University in Hungary.
Future: stay tuned.
Currently settled in Budapest, Hungary because my partner is Hungarian. And I have a Hungarian residence permit and do not need to apply for a visa.

She had not much experience of house hold works - but that made her even more exact and careful. She always asked how to do things, and made sure she understood correctly. And everything so tidy after her! She was very independent and happy, positive way thinking girl. We also had some… read more
She had to go to work during the day and we didn't have a lot of time to talk, but whenever she came home and had free time, she was patient and talked to me!
