Ahoi!
We are Loki(25) and Julian(29) from Berlin and we are a currently hitchhiking (autostop) our way from Germany via central to southeast asia, a quite colorful trip for us so far.
As we are fortunate enough to travel slowly, we love to take the time to meet people and try to emerge into local cultures. We often enjoy the hospitality of kind people, but we also like giving something back by helping out wherever possible. For German city folk we'd consider ourselves as reasonably capable with tools, gardens and other chores. We are eager to learn new ways of doing things and are usually quick to adapt to new tasks.

Back in our life in Germany, Loki is a student of cultural studies and Julian is a research assistant in railway engineering. We are currently very passionate about hiking, camping, mountains and hitchhiking.

We would love to meet you, hopefully have an interesting exchange and see where we can help best :)

P. S.: As we are hitchhiking, our schedule is quite flexible. So don't take our plans shown in the profile as written in stone - if something exciting comes up we are happy to change plans.

We generally enjoy working in a team and are happy to be part of whatever work/project is currently most pressing for you.
Even though we are both no carpenters, we are familiar with working with powertools and have both experience in drafting and constructing e.g. woodworking projects like beds.

We are both generally fit and outdoorsy, we like working in gardens and farms and we feel capable to make a useful contribution.

On top of that, Loki has extensive experience with service and gastro work as well as babysitting and she has quite the knack when it comes to decorating places and creative work.
Julian's railway-engineering background sadly does not come in handy directly all that often, but he's got a very pragmatic yet experimental problem-solving attitude for things that need fixing.

We think communication is very important for this to be a successful stay so you and everybody gets what they want from this. We are however quite capable of working on our own if needed, if general expectations are well communicated.
