  • Description

Hey everyone, my name is Henrik and I´m 24 years old. I live in Weimar, Germany, where I currently study Architecture. Originally though, I was born and raised in south Germany near Stuttgart. I´m a quite adventurous, spontaneous and direct person. Sometimes a little silly and stubborn, but I am usually very easy-going and don´t take myself too serious.

I love doing sports and outdoor activities. Field hockey is my main sport, as I have played it since I was a little kid. But I really enjoy trying out all kind of diffrent sports, especially those including a ball :). When I feel like it, I also like to just go for a run or a bouldering session.
After finishing school I traveled to Canada, which was probably the most exciting and defining experience in my life. Ever since that, I am really passionate about being in nature, hiking, camping, canoeing/kayaking etc.. Therefore I love spending my vacations and shorter traveling trips just with a backpack, experiencing adventures in nature and
    connecting to new people.
Also I love house and techno music, but I always like to hear new stuff and exchanging favorite music with others. And I really wished I could play an instrument properly :(
Otherwise I like drawing and doing creative/DIY projects to upgrade my room, make a gift or just because I feel like it.

For working, I am a bit of jack of all trades, as I have at least a bit of experience doing all kind of different tasks. I would describe myself as a crafty person, who likes building and fixing things. Carpentry and working with wood certainly is something I have experience in. Also, due to my studies and pervious jobs (I have built a composting toilet myself, which I am really proud of :)), I have some knowledge in that field. Landscaping, Gardening and Cleaning are things I can definetely help with, but have no special skills in. I was a hockey youth coach for many years and worked at youth summer camps. Working with kids is really enjoyable for me and I kinda become a kid myself doing that. I have some decent cooking basics, but would love to learn many new things from different cultures.

  • More details about your skills

I was a hockey coach for about 5 years in my local club in Germany. For that I think I am quite good at working with children and managing things/groups. Other than that i have a well-rounded skillset but no specific qualification other than coaching. During my stay in Canada I was able to collect a fair amount of experience in carpentry and landscaping, and I would like help with projects in those areas.
In general I am very comfortable doing household things, gardening and building of any kind, as I am doing these at home regularly. I also love creative, sporty and adventurous activities.
