Description
We are Vanesa and Jose, a couple with a desire to travel, learn, meet new people and their cultures, we love to enjoy the little moments of life.
To us life is experiences, we would like to continue achieving them with new challenges in other countries.
We have a seasonal beach bar which allows us to have a few months off and enjoy our free time.
After the magnificent experience as workawayers in Australia 2022 and with everything we learned we decided to be hosts in 2023 and we loved it too. We have had people from Australia, South Korea, Brazil, Canada, Serbia, Holland and Germany, so having both experiences host and workaway we are aware of what it is like to live in someone else's house, but also to have unknown people who end up being friends That's why we try to make our stay as easy as possible so that the experience is the best possible.
As long as we can, we´ll try to help, enjoy and enrich ourselves from other cultures in other countries and invite other people to our own, which we also find wonderful to discover.

We have a bar very close to the beach which we open only during 6 months so far.
In addition to serving and enjoying with our customers, out of season we carry out all the maintenance, being an open terrace with lots of vegetation we are always working with gardening, cleaning, painting, carpentry,...
Every year we like to do new projects in the bar, the last one was a big wooden pergola.
We also take care of the management and programming of the events, since we offer live music, DJ´s, and we usually do events such as birthdays, baby showers, and occasional weddings.
Skills:
Jose: I studied tourism at university. Currently, I combine my work in the bar with guided tours in my city. Although I am looking for new projects linked to tourism, preferably lodging. As a hobby I love DIY and working with my hands.
Vanesa: I have a degree in business and I have worked for more than 15 years in a Bank. Before that I had numerous jobs from shop assistant to accountant.
I love music, traveling and especially animals. I enjoy helping others and learning new things.
At this moment I have decided to make a change in my life and I am looking for new projects with my partner, right now, I´m working with him at the beach bar and help him with lot of stuff.

Don't miss the farmer's market on sunday & twilight on friday, anyway, Marcel will give you some good tips about things to do around.
Everything is special there, the place and the owner, we just stayed for a week but we really enjoyed, the chats with Michael and of course our little house infront of the amazing lake and garden.

The house is very nice and we enjoy their company, the pool and the fantastic garden every day after work.
