Hi ! I am starting in March a trip in Europe (Spain, Germany, ...) to discover other cultures and learn a lot of things ! It's a big challenge for me to travel alone, I hope to meet a lot of people !
Description
Hello!
My name is Lise, I am 22 and I am currently on a gap year because I want to take the time to act in accordance with my values by doing voluntary work for the next 6 months.
I already lived 3 months in Germany when I was 13 and it left me with a huge desire of living again abroad. I really want to live some months in another European country, in order to practice my languages and learn about other cultures.
I am passionate about ecology and finding solutions to environmental issues, and the other cause that is close to my heart is the fight against gender-based and sexual violence. It makes me so happy to be involved in those causes, that really bring sense in my life!
I love swimming, especially in the sea, as well as many other sports activities such as cycling, rollerblading, yoga, hiking and running. In other words, the more time I spend in nature, the better I feel!Interests

I started learning German 13 years ago but haven't spoken it in 2 years so one of my goals is to start speaking German again! I love learning new languages, so I'm very open to learning new ones during my trip!Skills and knowledge I'd like to share or learn

I am a french engineering student so I have skills in science and more specifically, I learned a lot about environemental issues. Next to my studies, I used to conduct private lessons to help children with their courses.
I have already had experiences in associations in the field of environment, culture, and with young and old people. I am also used to working with groups, during workshops on climate change awareness that I lead in France in my free time. I also worked as domestic help for elderly people, that was a very rich human experience.
I have some skills in photography (I love taking pictures) and I am also familiar with Adobe softwares that allows to create with photos and videos.
I love preparing meals and sharing them with others! Especially pastries, which always bring joy to gourmands!
