Helloo Friends!
My name is Lisa, I’m from Germany and I started my travel journey in June:)
Since then I volunteered 4 months in the Azores, a group of islands belonging to Portugal.
Right now I am in Central America staying in hostels and I want to make my way down to South America.
Since I’m 19 and finished School in 2022, I think Workaway is an amazing opportunity to travel the world, get to know different cultures and people and grow on yourself.

Some other facts about me:
*I love pets and I own a dog (which is right now in Germany with my family)
*I am vegetarian
*I want to learn how to surf

I fell in love with traveling and finding new passions!

I love to try different jobs and to make individual different experiences as much as possible. To challenge myself and to grow on myself.
I graduated Highschool in 2022 in Germany and since then I already
*volunteered in a hospital
*worked as a sales assistant
*worked as a waitress
*In Portugal I volunteered 4 months as a Tour Guide for whale watching and swimming with dolphins, as well as teached and informed people about the Ocean and its marine life
*volunteered in a hostel for 2 months in the reception
* volunteered in a Dive Center&Surf school
*recently volunteering in a hostel at the bar in Palomino,Colombia

Other skills:
*I do have a driver license
*I also have a boat license
*sport is important in my life, I play tennis since I’m a kid, I also ski and snowboard, swimming and volleyball whatever it is I’m down to be active
*I like to be creative, like drawing or writing or decorating my room new
*I try to learn how to crochet:)
*I love to snorkel and to dive so I currently doing my Advanced Open Water
*I love food and I like to cook so I’m more than happy to exchange some recipes
*I have a dog (right now in Germany with my family) and sometimes took care of cats as well, so I know how to take care of animals and be patient with them:)

*I speak, write and understand german and english
* I understand a bit spanish and I can have basic conversations aswell but I’m still trying to improve:)
