Description

Hello, we are Lisa and Paula, two 19-year-old girls from Austria! We just finished a secondary school for agriculture! Our plan for this year is to travel, gain experience in farming and learn more about different cultures and explore the world. We are a well-rehearsed team and hard working and we love all kind of animals and nature!

We have been to Norway for three months and worked on a goat farm. We got up early milked 75 goats, made cheese and served guests with our homemade products in a little cafe! After this beautiful experience we fell in love with goats and they are definitely one of our favorite animals.
Last summer we spent 1 month on a alpine farm in Switzerland. There we took care of 330 sheep, 30 goats and 2 guard dogs. The alpine huts are high up in the mountains and none of them can be reached by an acess road. It was really hard work but we loved being surrounded by nature and massive mountains.

In addition, we both have a basic education in agriculture, as subjects such as crop production, animal husbandry or forestry were on our timetable during school. We both are easygoing people that love children. We are able to cook for ourselves and are willing share some Austrian recipes with you! :)

Paula
I would describe myself as a calm and attentive person. I enjoy working with horses or taking long walks with my dog in nature! I have been horseback riding for more than ten years. I'm excited to meet new people and explore the world!

Lisa
I am a open-minded person, who enjoys spending time outdoors. In my free time you mostly find me in the mountains. In summer hiking, swimming in mountain lakes or skateboarding are my favourite things to do! In winter i try to spend as much time as possible on my skiis. I also worked as a skiinstructor in Austria!

We went to an agricultural school, where subjects like animal husbandry or plant cultivation were part of our classes. We also had to do three internships. We spent 3 months together in Norway on a goat farm with a small café, where we also learned to make cheese and milk the goats. Last summer we worked on an alpine farm in Switzerland with about 330 sheep. I, Lisa, work as an ski instructur in the winter and i help in the market garden of my family! Paula has a lot of experience with horses because she goes horseback riding since 10 years.
