Hello everybody!
I’m Lisa, from Austria, and love to travel and meeting new people with amazing stories to tell and different lifestyles. I've been traveling (with breaks for work and Covid) over the last 5 years to different countries and continents. I've been living for about half a year in the US and spent almost a year in New Zealand where I was exploring the country in my van. My last travels brought me to India and Nepal where I had the chance to trek in the Himalayas. When I’m not hiking up a mountain you can usually find me exploring a new country, skiing, reading or cooking delicious food. (I LOVE to cook) In my opinion the best way to get to know a country and it’s people is to live with locals and experience their daily lifes. Workaway gives me exactly that opportunity! In addition to that I can make a positive impact with helping in different ways. For me traveling is more about meeting people, diving into a new culture and making memories than going to overrun touristy places. I’ve done some volunteerings already including working in hostels, gardening and teaching English in a school in Indonesia. I'm always happy to learn and try out new things. Overall I'm a very easy going, happy and mature person. Looking forward meeting you!🌱🌎

I'm a very curious person and try to learn as many things in life as possible. I hold a degree in hospitality and have been working in the luxury hotel industry as a receptionist and reservations agent in the last years. Exceeding the expectations of the guests is always my goal. :)
