Description
Since August of 2022 we have been travelling the world full time and creating YouTube videos about our experiences! We have joined Workaway so we can meet new people and contribute in a meaningful way to the places we visit.

We spent the first 7 months travelling throughout Latin America, followed by 6 months in Europe. We are now in South East Asia until June 2024!

【LINDSAY】

I am from Niagara Falls, Canada. I have a degree in fashion design and am a very visual, creative person. For 3 years I had my own business selling clothing I made, and also filmed videos about my different design projects. I have experience teaching both adults and children to sew :) I also spent a period of about a year regularly volunteering at a local cat shelter in Canada.

I can help with any tasks that require steady hands and attention to detail (painting, planting, cleaning, etc.), as well as intermediate graphic design.

My hobbies are reading, cooking, hiking, and yoga!
I also passionately love animals and trying new (vegetarian) foods.

【MATTHEW】

(I go by my second name "Wyatt") I am from Niagara Falls, Canada. I worked as a drummer in the music scene in Canada from 2012-2022. I made a name for myself on YouTube creating performance, lesson and product videos around drumming. After the pandemic I decided to change my focus in life to film making and story telling.

I am a physically capable person, good with labor tasks. I also am strong with computer creation, from video editing, audio related software and equipment to general hardware set ups. I also can lead yoga / meditation classes.

When I am not working on video I spend my time practicing yoga and meditating. I enjoy spending long hours in nature, hiking, mountain biking, snowboarding, playing sports, cooking and reading.

We had an excellent Workaway experience here!! We got our own little room in the basement which was lovely, the permanent volunteers there were all extremely kind and welcoming, and we both really enjoyed the day to day work. Lindsay and Whiatt were an absolute pleasure to host for the 3 weeks that they blessed us with their energy of kindness and enthusiasm...better workawayers than this are not easy to come by. We absolutely loved staying with Tim and Nina! This was the best Workaway experience we have had yet. As hosts, Tim and Nina are kind, considerate, and awesome to be around. They made us feel very welcome from the start.

We had the pleasure of Lindsay and Matthew (Wyatt) staying with us over summer.
They are very early risers, motivated, organised, intelligent and self driven.

They both worked well alone or in a team. Wyatt and Lindsay helped us to paint my therapy room and created herb gardens.

We had a great time at Kate and Mike's! Enjoyed practicing yoga in their large studio space, painting Kate's new treatment room and cooking lots of delicious vegetarian food. Our tasks were only a couple hours a day leaving plenty of time to explore the Italian country side or spend long hours in the sun surrounded by the most adorable chickens.
