Hej, I'm Lena, 25 years young, german and also half Swedish. ;-)
I just finished my communications management degree and now I'm really looking forward to travel to Asia in October (starting in Nepal, then doing my yoga teacher in India and then I'll see where the flow goes - probably Sri Lanka next).
I love trying and learning new things, getting out of my comfort zone, get to know people from different cultures and perspectives, doing sports, being active and in nature. All in all: I just want to discover the world, spread love to all, doesn't matter if human beings, animals or nature.

I'm a very social person, I love being around people, playing games and sports (e.g. table tennis, hiking, badminton) but I can also spend time with myself and immerse myself in the world of books, cooking, meditation or yoga. Basically, I always look at life with optimism and am already looking forward to lots of exciting, deep and instructive encounters.
I'd love to contribute to different social projects all over the world and get to know new cultures, traditions and ways of living.
Can't wait to exchange skills, knowledge and wisdoms of life.

I have been lucky to gain a lot of different experiences over the last few years.
Through my studies and practical experiences I have been able to build up a wide range of knowledge in the fields of management, event management, journalism, video shooting, social media and more.
In addition, my volunteer work at Foodsharing and my passion for non-violent communication (according to Marshall Rosenberg) have helped me to always put myself in other perspectives and learn how to deal well with conflicts.
I also learned a lot about working with children through my two nephews and various projects (such as Project Child and Graduation in Yogyakarta, Indonesia), which I also really enjoyed.
Moreover, I've also been doing competitive/professional sports (table tennis) for some years, which helped me to develop skills regarding teamwork, motivation, discipline, dealing with challenges, commitment and autonomy.
Overall, I've always loved organizing stuff, working hard and with fun. I can easily adapt to different circumstances and new challenges. I'm looking forward to use and even develop my skills at nice host places.

You can inspire me with any sport, be it table tennis, beach volleyball, yoga, badminton, diving, surfing or hiking ;-)
Also, on my last trip I was able to overcome my fear of insects, I'm curious to see what it will be this time ;-)
