Hi there! I am a 20 year old Canadian girl originally form Saskatchewan. I spent the year of 2022 traveling solo through Eastern Canada via Workaway and learned a lot through my journeys, as well as made some amazing friends along the way :) I am a free-spirited girl with a deep love for adventure, nature and people! I value kindness, respect, honesty and good (clean) humor! I am Christian and hold these values closely. I love meeting all kinds of people and would certainly consider myself an enthusiastic extrovert! I love my family, music, animals, art and the outdoors... I am generally very keen to try new things and learn new skills. I have many (some very random) interests and hobbies, such as playing music (piano, voice, guitar..), painting, working outside, wood carving to name a few. Above all, I value time spent in nature and simply socializing with other like-minded individuals :)

Currently, I am living in Calgary and have lived here for the past year. I am hoping to find a Summer workaway adventure somewhat close-by, where I can ultimately reconnect with nature/animals and to the interior peace they bring. I am not afraid to try new things and am willing to work hard! I have different skills/experiences, as I already spent a year as a Workawayer and also grew up learning practical, down to earth skills in a large family.

My disposition is highly intertwined with my moral beliefs. Please note that I may not partake in certain activities if I am not comfortable with them :)

Les forces que j'ai remarquées chez elle sont notamment son souci de bien faire les choses, de communiquer facilement, ses petites attentions pour faire plaisir, sa bonne humeur… read more et son autonomie. Elle a plusieurs talents artistiques que les filles ont beaucoup apprécié. Elle aime rire et les filles se sont bien amusées avec elle à créer, à chanter, à jouer dans la piscine, à cuisiner en anglais pour se pratiquer avec elle. Elle recherche le bien de tous et possède une grande sensibilité. Donnez-lui une liste de tâches avec vos priorités et elle saura remplir son temps avec autonomie et discipline. J'ai beaucoup apprécié son aide partagée entre quelques tâches ménagères et de la présence auprès des filles pour des activités ou de la compagnie... Ici, pour respecter la guérison de ses blessures, les travaux n'étaient pas trop physiques mais elle a collaboré à quelques heures de jardinage et de nettoyage plus intense à l'occasion. Leah faisait partie de notre famille durant son séjour de 4 semaines, un peu comme une grande sœur pour les filles qui ont été attristées qu'elle nous quitte. Généreuse de sa personne et de son temps. Très bons souvenirs! Leah, tu es toujours la bienvenue chez nous!

Leah, although her mother tongue is English, speaks very good French. The strengths that I noticed in her are in particular her desire to do things well, to communicate easily, her little attentions to please, her good humor and her autonomy. She has several artistic talents which the girls greatly appreciated. She likes to laugh and the girls had fun with her creating, singing, playing in the pool, cooking in English to practice with her. She seeks the happiness of all and has great sensitivity. Give her a list of tasks with your priorities and she will know how to fill her time with autonomy and discipline. I very much appreciated her help shared between some household chores and being with the girls for activities or company... Here, to respect the healing of her wounds, the work was not too physical but she did collaborated in a few hours of gardening and more intense cleaning on occasion. Leah was part of our family during her 4 week stay, like a big sister to the girls who were saddened that she left us. Generous of her person and her time. Very Good memories! Leah, you're welcome whenever you want!
