Description
My name is Laura, 33 years from Leipzig in Germany.
I planed to travel 6 weeks in South America but after all I didn't go back home and are here more then 10 month now.
I love to travel and always try to be abroad. I lived each one year in Bulgaria, Australia and New Zealand and spend many more month in different countries. I don't know homesickness, only wanderlust.
I am a friendly, honest and reliable person. I am always looking for harmony. I believe communication is the key for many things. I am very thankful and cherish good things.
I'm used to hard physical work because where I grew up was always work to do in the yard, garden and around the house. But I like more work like pulling weeds, raking leaves or painting a fence because it is like meditation for me. I have a lot of patience and perseverance. I like hands on work.
I actually have an education in tourism and worked in a travel agency. After this I worked in the administration of a scientific institute. First at the reception and then at personnel department.
In-between in Australia I worked in a nursery for plants or in a restaurant and in New Zealand at a campsite/motel, doing the reception and cleaning and also briefly worked on a dairy farm.
I volunteered one year in Bulgaria in social work with disabled children, ophrans and youngsters. In Germany I volunteered one your in a nature park and learned about ecological topics.
I would like to know more about sustainable and simple living. Gain more knowledge in ecology. I feel very connected to nature. I believe in mother nature. Here I find my calm and peace.
Other than this I like to be around people and also love to hang out alone. I love art, visiting museums, going to concerts, going for walks and many more.
I always want to learn new things and gain new experience.
On my travels now I have been volunteering for 2 month in Uruguay in 3 different places and one week in Brazil.

We stayed in his house alone and repaired the wall, painted, helped with harvesting and other things. His house is a bit far away from everything but for sure it is a little paradise. It also is right at a lake where you can explore with a boat.
