Hellooo there!

My name is Laura, and I'm a curious and friendly (and somewhat talkative hahaha) solo traveler looking forward to explore new cultures, meet new people, and discover stories around the world! I was born with an insatiable desire to explore, learn, and build enriching connections.

And that's why I absolutely love to travel and, specially, volunteering! I've found in volunteer exchange an incredible and beautiful way to immerse myself and get to know new cultures and stories, have new experiences, learn new things, be able to help people more and more and create meaningful connections!

When I finished high school in 2021, I found myself at a moment where college and the "traditional" post-school path didn't make sense to me! My motivation, my dream, has always been to explore the world, experience new cultures, and share a bit of my culture with new people as well! And that's my biggest inspiration!

I'm super excited to learn new skills and languages as well! I currently work as Digital Strategist and Designer and would be super happy to help with that! But I'm also very open and eager to learn new skills and help with things I've never done before!

I also have a knack for some manual skills and am passionate about sports (especially volleyball)! And I would be thrilled to share these passions!

I simply LOVE languages!I'm very interested in learning new languages and developing myself further! And I would also be very happy to share my knowledge of Portuguese (which is my mother language) and English! I've got conversational Spanish too, and would enjoy practicing it!

I work with social media management and digital design, so I have a lot of experience and skill in this area!

I also have some hobbies that have allowed me to develop manual skills like drawing and crafting! I can also help with children (whom I love and have always taken care of, especially my younger cousins), pets and daily taks!

I've always grown up around many people, so I'm very comfortable conversing with and helping them when needed! The time I spent helping in my family's store (for 7 years) also gave me a special fondness for hospitality! Oh, and I couldn't forget to mention my love for sports, board games, and activities that can entertain people a lot!

And once again, I'm really interest and excited to learn new skills and abilities!

I consider myself a bit of a nerd hahahaha!

I could literally spend a whole day playing board games (and other types of games), I love it! I also enjoy reading and watching series and movies!

And I love sports, especially volleyball, which is my passion!

Oh, and of course, it's a tremendous pleasure for me to be able to talk with people, spend time together, and exchange experiences! I love hearing new stories and perspectives and being able to share ideas and opinions!
