Description
Hi! We're Kamil and Laura from the Netherlands and we're currently travelling the world, looking for meaningful connections, fun experiences and ways to help and learn from other people.

Kamil has a degree in Tourism/Leisure Management and Biology and Laura has completed studies in Cultural Anthropology and Human Geography. In september 2024 we both quit our jobs to travel and volunteer abroad.

We are both very passionate about getting involved with creative projects and organizing events. Throughout the years we've hosted many party's and a few festivals. We like to get creative so every year we participate in an event where we build parade floats with our community (if you're curious, it's called Bloemencorso Valkenswaard).

We both love to be in nature (hiking, camping, kayak) read good books and listen to music. Besides that I have some experience with helping refugees find their way in the (very regulated) Netherlands and Kamil is also passionate about working with animals and photograpy.

Laura stayed with us for two weeks and was a pleasure to have at our academy. She also spent some time at the farm too and got to see the full range of things we do here. We had a really fun stay with Steve in Chiayi and Alishan. Steve is very knowledgeable about tea, nature, the beautiful region of Alishan and Taiwanese culture. Kamil and I had an amazing time at the this Farm. Tim, Kiki and the other community members are incredible people. They really made us feel at home. We really enjoyed the weekly group diners and all the lovely conversations we had. We even were invites to a drum circle and a bonfire, which was lovely!
