  • Description

Learning new things and trying to understand different people has always been exciting. That is probably why I like to know a bit about everything. My interests range wide - sports, politics and maths such as philosophy and languages.

Besides from learning new things, the feeling of making a small positive difference is motivational too. A feeling that especially was realised during my last year as a substitute teacher at a public school. I loved it and became quite close with the children.

  • More details about your skills

During my education I have been working a couple of places that has given me different experiences. My first job was scooping ice cream in a parlor to the many customers by the beach. A few years later I worked at a grocery store placed in a holiday home resort with one of my friends. We lived out there during vacations with lots of other young people working almost every day. Therefore I am experienced with physically hard work.

After graduation of high school I worked full time for one year as a substitute teacher on a public school with children between the age of 5 and 16 years. I had responsibility for the classes that I taught while I also prepared some of the lessons on my own. The subjects ranged from math and biology to sports and music. The ability to both collaborate and act independently was a vital part of the job. In order to make things work in a class you had to establish relationships with the children which definitely was the best thing about the job.
