My name is Lara and I have just finished my bachelor Health Sciences in Amsterdam. The past six months, I have lived in Denmark to follow an extra minor in Gender Studies, which I very much enjoyed. Now that I am done studying, I am motivated to travel and gain new experiences all around the world, as I greatly missed being physically active during my studies. For this reason, I decided to focus on broadening my skills and experiences in as many perspectives as possible, which brought me here. I love swimming, being outside in nature, hiking, and meeting new people from all over the world, which was my biggest motivation to start travelling :)

I studied Health Sciences in Amsterdam with a minor in Global Sustainability and Gender Studies, which are three topics I am greatly interested in. Next to my studies, I have worked as a care worker with elderly, in a vegan salad bar, as a barista in a cafe, and as a tour guide in a museum. I love trying as many things as possible to broaden my skills and experiences, so I am open for many things! I have also lived in France for one year to study the language and I speak fluently Dutch, English, and some German. A few months ago, at the beginning of my travel, I stayed at a monastery. This inspired me a lot and I would love to continue on meditating and maybe inspire others to do so as well!

What else ...

Next to my studies, I draw a lot. I have joined some exhibitions and really enjoyed this. I would love to find more time and space to draw during my travels! I am also a big fan of swimming and snorkelling, I could be in the water all day.
