My name is Svetlana. I am 59 years old. I'm from Ukraine. I am a geographer in the specialty - therefore, the journey is my passion. I love traveling, meeting new people. I like to get acquainted with the life of local communities, study local cuisine, cultural traditions and the history of different parts of the world. I am most inspired by traveling in places where I see the real life of local communities. I am an active supporter of the movement for slow food, in Ukraine I worked in gastronomic tourism, programs to preserve local traditional products. A journey for me always opens new products, gastronomic traditions and acquaintance with new people. The world is so diverse, and I am happier, knowing it.

I have several hobbies that make my life happy:
1. Travel. I am a geographer by education, so traveling is my second self. Travels are new acquaintances, new knowledge, impressions and emotions.
2. The study of the culinary traditions of different countries and peoples. Local cuisine, as a distinctive feature of the region.
Most of my life I worked in projects for sustainable development of local communities. My specialization is the preservation and development of local culinary traditions, local animal breeds, and local plant species. Therefore, I really like to get acquainted with local cuisine and the history of local communities when I travel.
3. I really love flowers. I like to work in the garden. I have a florist diploma.
4. I like to work in tourism. In Ukraine, I worked in a mountain tourist region of the Carpathians, I have experience in agrotourism and gastronomic tourism.
If we talk about what I can do, then:
- I like to cook, I know how to cook cheese and make dairy products
- I like to work with chocolate, bake cookies
- care for plants, create floral arrangements
- I can do any housework
Most importantly, I really love Italy. It is very interesting for me to immerse myself in the life of local communities. I want to see the real, not tourist Italy. I want to learn how to prepare traditional Italian cuisine and learn Italian.
