Description
Hi, I'm Krissy.
I am hoping to travel as widely as possible and experience new things. Currently I am taking my career break/ sabbatical from being an English and History teacher in Ireland.
I will travel on my own and I am trying to learn Spanish - estoy aprendiendo español!

I hope to visit South America in late 2022 and continue my travels into 2023.

I am an adventure loving person and I hike, love kayaking and the outdoors. I help on my parents farm here and am no stranger to hard work.

I work in youth work and also volunteer with young people in scouts. We bring them kayaking, camping overnights, show cooking, pioneering and other skills. It's fun. I run our social media platforms and do the administrative tasks needed and organise the activities, any payments and buses for trips etc.

I teach English here in Ireland, and History. I have previously taught in the UK also.

Previously, I have worked in hospitality; hotels, catering and waitressing. I have done some cleaning too of boats for a rental company. That kind of thing.

Dominic and Luna are good hosts and are working very hard on their hotel. They are generous and kind and cooked me a few meals. It was great to see Toi and I really enjoyed the beaches here. I would highly recommend the experience to other workaway users. I stayed for 3 months starting in December. Carol is an excellent host and I really enjoyed my stay. I spent 4 weeks here in November and enjoyed my time very much. I recommend it to other 'workawayers'.
