Hello
My name is Konni and I am 22 years old. I live in Switzerland and I am a student.
During the semester break, I love to travel and discover new cultures and perspectives. For example, once I visited Spain and helped out on a secluded horse farm. An other time, I worked in a café and at an home for people with special needs in England. No matter how different the two places were, I loved them both.
I appreciate the sense of stability that comes from being part of a family or fixed group, but I also enjoy the dynamic of unsettled group.
For instance, I think staying in a hostel is amazing because it allows me to interact with a diverse range of individuals and cultures. On the other hand, beeing a part of a family/community allows me to form deeper connection. I couldn't decide which is better. Another time: I love both.
If I am not traveling, I take care of my goats at home. They are very clever, so I often have to build a new fence so they don't escape :) Because of my goats (& chickens) and the work they require, I am used to working with my hands. Additionally, I take care of 2 horses and 2 dogs when their owners goes on holiday, by myself. As you can see, I love animals and being outdoor in nature.
However, I am also a very social and sporty person. For example, I have been playing basketball in a club for several years, doing couple dance and using university sport facilities frequently. I would love to learn a new sport such as surfing or everything else. I also enjoy engaging in meaningful conversations about ourselves and the world, as well as playing board and card games. I am excited to learn about know your favorits.
I am not only interested in sports, games or animals, but also in music. I used to play the piano and currently I am learning to play the gitarre with one of my sisters. So, if you would like to make music together, I'm in.
As you can see, I am a very active person, but don't worry, I am also happy if I can just read a good book or take a sunbathe.
I come from the German-speaking part of Switzerland, so German is my native language. I am also comfortable speaking English. In school, I once learned French in school, but I have forgotten a lot. This year, I have set myself the goal of learning it again. So, if you can speak French, I would love to learn it from you. Of course, I can teach you German if you are interested.
As a flexible and open-minded individual who can and like to adjust myself to various circumstances and enjoys learing new things, I am able to do a lot of different tasks.
I look forward to meeting new people, exploring different communities, and making a positive impact wherever I go.
