Hello! I’m a 28-year-old Australian/Filipino embarking on a journey of travel! I’m fluent in both English (my first language) and Tagalog, which allows me to connect with a wide range of individuals. I am passionate about connecting with people from all walks of life, having fun and enjoying life!
Currently, I work as a Detention Youth Worker, supporting young people who are in detention and entering the justice system. My role involves providing guidance, support, and mentorship to help these youth navigate difficult circumstances and make positive changes in their lives. I have experience in conflict resolution, crisis management, and building trust with individuals from diverse backgrounds. My work has also taught me how to remain calm under pressure and create a supportive and safe environment for those in need.
I am passionate about community development, youth empowerment and connecting with different cultures. I am patient, empathetic, and skilled at listening and understanding the needs of others. I’m comfortable working independently or as part of a team, and I am adaptable to new environments and challenges.
