Description
I am a 22 year old with roots in Afghanistan, Germany and the UK with a big heart and a spirit of adventure, or so I hope that's how people see me! I'm drawn to Workaway as it's the perfect way to immerse yourself in a culture and make friends simultaneously. I have done one other Workaway, last year at a monastery in Thailand, and it's given me the Workaway bug. So that's why I'm here, back again to join another adventure.
To go into a little more detail: I like to be kind, to find connections in unexpected places, to show love by cooking for others as this is a part of my culture, to laugh openly and heartily. Simply put, I strive to live my best life, all whilst considering my impact on myself, the people around and me and the world beneath my feet. I strive to be a human doing not a human being :)]
Hobbies wise: I have recently learned to knit! So would love to build on this skill whilst at my Workaway. I also love to swim, run, cycle, read and sing.

I am due to graduate from Vet School in 2025 so I have honed my skills in animal welfare and handling. I am also able to cook meals for large groups of people and am good at organising groups as I often host weekend getaways for large groups of friends. Also, I have been teaching first-year university students for three years so I am good at teaching, mentoring and building supportive, unjudgemental relationships. Other than that, I have a can-do attitude ( I hope that counts as a skill!) and pick up new skills quickly.
