An adventurous spirit and explorer at heart I follow my curiosity wherever it leads me and love discovering new places, cultures, people, ideas, art, flora, fauna and experiences!

I am a scientist by trade, fascinated by altered states of consciousness, indigenous culture and practices and plant medicines which I have been researching for the last couple of years. As I step back from the world of academia and take my explorations into the real world, I'm looking to embrace all of my senses and deepen into new 'ways of knowing' and being that are more sustainable and in reciprocity with nature and hopefully inspire others to do the same! I trust I have much to learn from the Workaway community about how to do this and I am looking forward to getting my hands dirty and heart full

I am an English speaking Australian with a can-do attitude and I am willing and eager to learn as much as possible! I am a very quick learner, always up for a challenge and no task is ever too big, small or challenging, its simply part of the experience.

I have diverse experience working a range of roles from scientist, rock-climbing instructor, educator, rowing coach, training course coordinator, travel sales consultant, administration, customer service and hospitality. I hold a manual drivers licence and have completed first aid, vertical rescue and wildlife rescue training. I have also developed skills through volunteering in hospitals, community gardens and homeschooling my young cousins during covid.

Throughout 2022 I also completed a year long nature-based leadership training program which covered Tending the Wild, Deep Nature Connection, Village Building, The Wider Story, Leadership, Authenticity & Purpose and Spirituality & Sacred Activism. This program was transformative and equipped me with many skills that may help me provide a valuable contribution to the Workaway community.

I am also working on cultivating a number of practices at the moment which include yoga, meditation and writing. Eventually I would also learn to love to play music and create more art!
