Hi. I am in Negombo and I would like to go on some trips.Also beach or dinner would be nice. I am only volunteer in my place so a bit boring! I prefer nature, good food and conversation than party :)

Hi everyone.
I´m Klára from Czech republic, 35 years young :)
Seven years ago I decided to change my life. I quit my job, broke up with my boyfriend and left my home.
And why? I found out, that there are many beautiful places to explore, many amazing people to meet, many skills to learn and many friends to make...

I spent last 7 years volunteering. One season in USA and six seasons in Canary islands.
Now is time to explore Asia. Different cultures, cousines, nature.
I am coming on 19th September to Sri Lanka. Later I plan to move to Thailand, Laos, Kambodja, Vietnam. In every country I plan to stay 1-3months.

I volunteered in many different projects: hostels, apartments, farms, communities, art associations, animal shelter.
So I can offer help with cleaning, cooking, organising events, decorating and organising rooms and common areas, communication with guests, teaching english ( begginers to intermidiate) , taking care of dogs and cats.
( I rarely volunteered through workaway, so I don´t have much reviews. If you need more I can provide contact to other places where I was helping)

More and more I feel a need to spend time in nature, live a basic life, be conscious about my health, lifestyle, personal growing… I would love to meet people who are living in their own way, in harmony with nature and with each other...

I am looking for a quiet place preferably with my little private space, where more volunteers are helping. I would love to find one of these projects: animal care (dogs and cats), teaching children, joga and meditation retreat (where I can help with cleaning, cooking, organising events in exchange for free clases of joga).

I have experience with teaching English (begginers to intermidiate). Not at official school, just private lessons. Adults and children. I prefer conversations and games, but I am also able to explain grammar.

All my life I worked with people…

I worked in fitness centre: reception, training clients (exercise lessons like zumba, aerobic, bodyforming, spinning, fitnessbox), managing team of 20 people, organizing events ( fitness weekends for women, summer camps for families) , marketing (posters, Facebook).
I had a little tea house, small bar with barbecue, parties, events.
I also worked in bank and in a hotel (cleaning, kitchen, bar).

So after 15 years of working with people I know advantages and disadvantages of it, how intense it can be sometimes and how much effort, patience and smiling it requires.

I am team player but I can work on my own, hard worker. I know how important is to learn, grow and improvise. I am very responsible and honest. I like fair play.

What else ...

During summer I organise camps for families in the mountains in Czech republic.
It means a lot of fun, changing costumes five times a day as you can see in my photos :D , forest all around, great food, warm homey atmosphere and amazing people. Kids are giving back soooo much for love and attention. My job also require very good organisation skills, ability to improvise, a bit of patience with kids and much more of it with the parents… and also on-line work during the year (max. 3-4 hours a week)
I am creating all the program, I need to be in contact with my team. Also looking for clients, doing some advertisement…
So unfortunately I can´t be volunteering in a place without internet connection.
