Hello everyone!
My name is Kelly and I’m a friendly and calm person with a passion for sustainability, animals and learning new skills. I joined Workaway, because I'm looking for opportunities to travel, live abroad, meet new people and gain new experiences!
I’m from Estonia, where I spent my wonderful childhood in a small village near the capital city, Tallinn. My heart belongs to the countryside and I definitely want to live in nature when settling down.
I’ve always loved animals and being in nature. Since childhood, my friends joked that I was going to be a farm girl, which I think is becoming true now. I love spending time outdoors, whether it’s swimming, hiking, horse riding, working with dogs, cuddling with cats or taking care of other animals.Interests

Horses:
I have been horse riding for almost 4 years. I understand their behavior and can assist with stable duties, daily exercise and groom them. I even took a green card exam in Estonia. It is a test that riders need to pass in order to demonstrate their basic knowledge and skills in horse riding, safety and horse care. After passing the exam, riders receive a Green Card, which allows them to participate in various official equestrian competitions and events. This certification ensures that the rider has the necessary competence to handle horses safely and ride responsibly in competitions.
Other animals:
My family and I have a Siberian Husky and two amazing cats. I know how to take good care of them and manage their needs. I’ve also had experience pet-sitting other dogs, including puppies. When I was younger, I owned several hamsters. I’m eager to take on a variety of animal-related tasks and responsibilities and I’m excited to learn and care for animals I haven’t yet had the opportunity to work with.
My longest work experience was in IKEA at a Swedish restaurant, where I worked as a food service employee for over a year. My colleagues would describe me as dedicated, reliable and hardworking.
Here are a few other positions I've held:
-Customer service assistant in a small pizza restaurant
-Deep cleaning of private homes
-Landscaping work
-Hall assistant at Decathlon sports shop
-Warehouse worker (placing products on the production line and unloading finished products)
-Cleaning a school stadiumAge
