Hi! My name is Kate. I am 22 years old and have just graduated from university studying Psychology. I am outgoing, friendly and extroverted. I love meeting new people and especially love to travel- not only as a way to learn about the world and how people live but also to learn about myself and feel more connected to the country I am in.
I have lived in many different countries and moved schools a lot. This has made me very adaptable and fuelled my love of connecting with new cultures and being exposed to different environments. I am a quick learner and a hard worker. I enjoy getting stuck into new projects and doing the best I can. I love working as part of a team and am a very honest, kind and genuine person.
I am particularly looking to work outdoors with animals. I have some previous experience doing so but would like to build on this experience and learn new skills in animal care and working outdoors.

I am very much a people person and have a lot of experience working with tourists and customers. Having worked as a waitress, cashier, nanny, nursery assistant, teacher and tour guide, I am very experienced in working with people and handling tricky situations. I love to work as part of a team, but can also take the initiative and work well on my own.
I have previously spent a lot of time teaching English and am professionally qualified to do so.
I have taken multiple Spanish courses and learnt it at school. I currently sit at B1 level so am capable of interacting with people and forming relationships, however I look forward to continuing to improve my ability with time.
I have a great love of the outdoors and working with animals. Although I do not have a huge amount of formal experience, I have a huge amount of passion and am able to pickup skills quickly.
I am very creative and love anything to do with art. I was awarded an art scholarship at school and continue to greatly enjoy it whenever I get the opportunity to be creative.

What else ...

I am an easy going, fun and friendly person. I have two brothers, which taught me how to put up with almost anything so I am a very resilient person. I love UNO (although I get pretty competitive) and my special talent is being able to fall asleep absolutely anywhere. When I was younger I rescued a baby crow which had fallen from a tree and cared for it for a few days until having to return it home. This was a formative moment for me and the start to my deep love of animals and wish to always be around them.
