Hey, I'm Karo! I'm a 27 year old television director living in Berlin. I'm into everything related to art, film and books. I love to go to the theatres and I like spending time on fleamarkets or in museums. Since a couple of years I really got into hiking and whenever I can, I try to get out of the big city jungle to spend some time in nature. Yoga, swimming, kayaking, cycling - these kinda things help me clear my mind.:)

I produce socio-political documentaries for a living. So social equity and sustainabilty are very important to me. I'm a vegetarian and I love animals! I actually can't walk by a dog without greeting him or her.

I already did some intercontinental travel already, went to New Zealand and Costa Rica. But it's been too long. So next year I want to take a little break from everyday life and want to get to know different cultures and ways of living. That's why I'm here :)

Because of my job I'm experienced in social media, videography and a bit photography. I love to think about good image composition, working creatively and visualize ideas. I never painted professionally, but I like painting or creating art in my freetime.

In my time as a student I worked a lot in gastronomy. I worked a while in a kitchen and had fun preparing (simple, not too fancy) meals. I also worked at a coffee place and in a bar, so I can prepare a decent coffee and drink.

After graduation I worked on an apple farm in new zealand. I like to get my hands dirty and do some gardening. I'm not really experienced, but I would love to learn more about gardening and permaculture!

I love spending time with animals. I did horseriding for around 10 years and took care of a foster horse for a while.

What else ...

I want to spend my time in this country not only travelling around, but really doing something with purpuse. I want to get to know the culture, the people and the nature. I want to work with my hands and help building sustainable places. And while doing that spending as much time exploring, hiking and spending time in the nature as I can.:)
