Description
Hi, everyone! We are Kara (22) and Chris (30).We are a dynamic couple of several years and based in Switzerland. We plan to do WorkAway in the spring and summer of 2025. We don't have a fix destination in mind and invite any opportunity that may open up.
We both like spending time outside sailing, hiking, camping and scuba diving. And while we are inside together we like to experiment with new recipes. Aditionally, Kara likes to spend her time reading and embroidering . Chris likes spending time woodworking and fixing various things in his littel workshop while listening to the latest news from around the world.
Direct communication is very important to us while remaining empathic for the other person. We value relationships in which we can provide and receive mutual support. We enjoy passionate discussions and participating in social activities together. But our social energy needs to be recharged from time to time.
Kara has a Bachelor in Environmental Sciences from ETH Zürich. She has always been passionate about the environment, volunteering in WWF youth projects. As well as participating in FridaysForFuture, where she met Chris. We now both volunteer in a student association providing sex education for teenagers.
Chris has studied mecanical engineering with a focus on renewable energy systems and sustainability. Before that he worked at several boatyards on maintainance and refit projects.
Before going back to university and coroprate jobs in the autumn of 2025, we want to put our aquired knowledge into action: protecting the environment, teaching, community building. Since we have not travelled much up until now, we would like to explore new countries and learn about their cultures. We want to see more of what the world has to offer and what we can give back!
