  • Description

Does life begins at 40? Sounds like it has for me! I’ve been extremely lucky to have made decisions in my early twenties that turned a 1 month trip into a +10 year journey were I’ve traveled and lived in communities in the globe where spiritual seekers converge to try to embody their most empathic selves, like Nepal and Lake Atitlan in Guatemala.
This life experience that has interwoven losses and bereavement has led me to now look for new ways to make best use of my time and giving back while discovering new places on this Earth, but this time with a belt full of holistic tools like meditation and yoga, is what is most compelling for me so If you were asking to find a Spanish and English compassionate companion then don’t be shy and write me! I’ve been told I am a good listener and really enjoy conversing about the meaning of life.

  • More details about your skills

Here a few examples of my various acquired skills:
-Learned English by myself, I owned and managed a hostel in a coral reef area in El Salvador back in 2009 for two years and made it to be mentioned on Lonely Planet after my first year.
-I am a certified Freediving coach, spreading awareness about respecting Nature and The Ocean is one of my passions.
-I’ve been labeled a Mary Poppins type of Nanny, since I enjoy to activate via playful games children’s imagination to discover the magic of creation, while effectively tutor them in English and Math.
Also been called a “baby whisperer” due to having a gift for soothing tantrums in a respectful and gentle way.
-I enjoy being around animals, specially cats and dogs.
-I am a singer and song writer, play the guitar and love to dance and do theater. Gained a scholarship as a Soprano Coloratura to study Opera for 1 year when fresh out of Collage and performed as part of the choral ensamble La Traviatta in a Theater.
-During a trip to Arizona in the United States I discover I was fluent enough to be an interpreter and joined the AZPAC clinic as a medical interpreter serving the underprivileged community of people without access to the Healthcare system back in 2013 and since then I have served as an interpreter for people in the medical and healing field in El Salvador, Mexico and Guatemala.
-I have managed a hotel and a restaurant in Guatemala, then transition to manage properties on airbnb and I am currently subletting my 1bedroom apartment in Guatemala and managing it remotely.
-I managed Keiths Cacao Guatemala, a cacao production in Guatemala for 3 years as a way to give back to my mentor Keith whom taught me how to use Cacao in a ceremonial way to help healing people’s release emotional blockages.
-In the past decade I have learned Vipassana, Yoga and various other healing techniques that help me regulate my own nervous system and affect positively those around me.

So basically I am an artists at heart, with a calling for being in service who is solution oriented and a fast learner. Also I have a tendency towards flexibility and adaptability, as long as the environment is healthy and access to privacy and nature to re-charge is available.
