Hello! My name is Jess, I am 28 and I am currently open to new opportunities where I can share my skills and learn new ones!
I am currently on an open ended trip around the world after finishing my contract in Spain.
As I get older, the way I travel has changed and I am looking for new opportunities where I can slow down, build a community with those around me, and really appreciate my new location.
I am hardworking, trustworthy, and self determined to be the best professional I can be.
I graduated university with a a degree in social work. Since then I have worked in higher education, worked in the outdoor industry, and marketing and logistics in the health field.
I am motivated to connect with others, spend time in the outdoors, cook homemade meals, and better my community.

My hobbies include reading, going on daily walks, paddle boarding, baking/cooking dinners and learning new card games with others.
previous volunteer experience I have:
USA- worked for three summers on an Amish farm, rebuilt homes destroyed by the hurricane, worked with habitat for humanity painting homes. volunteered at my local dog shelter since I was 16.
Georgia (the country) volunteered at a hostel working reception and then a guest home as a hiking guide. Also worked at a tourism agency answering emails
India- did social media and marketing for a surf hostel, led kayaking tours for guests, worked in the desert at a resort as a host for guests all around the world. worked at an eco farm in the south where I did gardening, worked at the cafe, and took care of seven dogs. volunteered at a rural farm with a local family where I taught English in the village and did construction help around the property.
Malaysia- worked front desk, housekeeping, and an event planner for a hostel planning game nights, karaoke, walking tours, and family dinners.
