Description
Hi, We are Julie and Andrea 🙃
Our main goal is to visit New Zealand but also to spend some incredible time with hosts (maybe you 🤷🏻♀️). We find the possibility of staying with locals, working and sharing the same roof just crazy. To be able to help but also learn and share our knowledge, lifestyles and habits. We likes to be useful and work outdoors.
Julie : I love animals. Dogs drive me crazy 🐶. I'm also very fond of horses 🐴; I've been riding for about 10 years.
I’m comfortable with children. I often looked after my brother when he was young. As my brother has a disability, I've also developed a certain patience with children.
Andrea : I had a lot of experience in gardening 👩🏻🌾, I worked in a nursery for 5 months before leaving. I like animals as well and like take care of them. 🐈🐮
Otherwise, we love reading 📚and good movies 🍿. We love being outdoors, hiking ⛰️, going to the sea 🏝️... We're looking for adventure and wonderful landscapes (We think we can find our happiness here).
Andrea just arrived in October but I (Julie) already did 6 months in the North Island.
To be transparent with you, we're also here to improve our English. We can manage, but we're not fluent and may make you repeat yourself sometimes 😇Interests

Julie : My father was in the building trade, so I often helped him. I know how to sand, paint, lay parquet, screw and unscrew, and use tools 🛠️
We're comfortable with outdoor tasks such as clearing undergrowth, planting, using compost, chopping wood 👩🏻🌾 Andrea did 6 months in a nursery so she has good skills in gardening.
We're also great fans of animals, and enjoy looking after them.
Julie : Having ridden horses for a long time, I know how to look after them 🐴
It's not what we're primarily looking for, but we know how to maintain a house and take care of people 👴🏼. I (Julie) was a home help for 2 months in France. I used to clean people's houses, help them with meals and keep them company.Age

The work is pretty physical, but it's okay for 4-5 hours a day. I loved being part of Mike's wonderful project.
I had a great time there and highly recommend Mike 😊
