My name is Julia! When I made my profile on the website, my father, George, went with me. But I'm going alone and I can't change the name haha.

This will be my first trip as a workaway, but I already spent 3 months in Italy as an Aupair and loved the experience. I'm a lover of nature and animals, I love farms, plantations, fields, climbing trees. I really like meeting new people and new cultures. I think this is what makes life worth living, the human exchanges and connections. I'm 24 years old, at the end of my degree in psychology and I would like to spend my holidays venturing outside the country. I'm a very extroverted person, I really like talking and especially listening. I want to know your family, your lifestyle and especially help you and work! I'm looking forward to my first Workaway trip :)

I don't use drugs, I rarely drink alcoholic beverages, I like to read, study, make friends, I like to cook, I take care of plants in my house, I do manual work such as painting, ceramics, embroidery and a little sewing.

I'm good at learning new things. I really like manual arts, such as ceramics, embroidery, painting, drawing, painting walls, planting, cooking. I decorated my house from scratch and my thought is ''do I really need to buy this or can I build my own?''. I really like carpentry (but I'm not a professional) and I really like animals and insects.

I study psychology, I really like reading, I teach at a public school on Fridays and I'm already working at the psychology clinic (during my college internship). I like new challenges and getting out of my comfort zone.

I worked for a few years before college at a youth camp. There I was a monitor, did theater, took care of children, worked at the reptile zoo, guided trails, went on kayak trips and told stories around a campfire. I miss this connection with people and nature in my daily life.

Talking about my father, who will probably travel with me, he is good at housekeeping, cleaning, has knowledge of electrical and construction, likes sports and loves learning new things. He wants to improve his English and discover new cultures. He works with house construction here in Brazil. He is a very kind man and surrounded by friends wherever he goes.
