Hi!
We are two friends that have known each other since high school. Living far a part has meant that the time we do spend together is usually taken up by travelling to new places and going on little adventures. With a healthy appetite for exotic cuisine and a love for the great outdoors, we thrive in new and unfamiliar places.

I'm Anna, I am from Poland but study Business Studies in Germany at the moment. I love to constantly be on the move and take on odd jobs to learn a variety of skills. As a child, I would often spend time with my Polish grandparents as they taught me gardening, canning and other homesteading activities. My hobbies include: board games, video games and cooking.

I am Jule, I'm German but grew up in India and have lived abroad for the majority of my life. I have a Masters degree in Experimental Medicine and am currently in the process of finding a fitting PhD position to continue my scientific career. Having lived in India I grew up close to nature, attending many wildlife conservation expeditions as a child during my vacations. Growing up with a multicultural background has made me a very open-minded and free-spirited person. I enjoy gardening, baking and cooking in my free time, along with spending lots of time in nature.

The resolution for both of us is to see more of the world this year, starting with Canada. We are both looking for a place to be able to spend a month close to nature, exploring all that there is to offer while also spending quality time away from our every day work. We both enjoy working outside and do not shy away from physically demanding work. We both have varying experience in working with animals and have handled small to medium sized carpentry projects. We are eager to learn and always looking to improve ourselves.

We can't wait for our adventure to begin!

Anna: I am fluent in Polish, German and English. I have worked many social event jobs through which I have cultivated my social skills. I enjoy cooking and trying out new recipes. My grandparents have taught me how to ferment and preserve produce for the winter months. Through living by myself I have also acquired basic carpentry skills.

Jule: I am fluent in German and English. My father started his career as a carpenter and has taught me many carpentry skills over the years. I have built greenhouses, flower beds and even pieces of furniture for my room. Gardening is my passion and I have been growing different produce year round. I not only enjoy baking and cooking but also making jams from home-grown berries and preserving vegetables and fruits. I have previously worked on farms helping with chopping wood for fire and tending to cattle (including milking cows) when neighbouring farms were short-staffed.

We both enjoy social work, we used to work in a soup kitchen together while attending school and have also hosted fun outdoor activities for children in need.
