My name is Judith, I’m 36 years old and I’m from the Netherlands. Since June 1st, I’ve been travelling solo, after quitting my job to start a new chapter. After a few intense years focused on personal growth, I felt it was time to step out of my comfort zone. I want to discover new places, meet new people, and get to know myself better. I also hope to improve my English. At the moment, I’m in Central Portugal doing a Workaway at an animal sanctuary, and I’m excited to see where this journey will take me next!

I’m a social person, but I also value time alone to recharge. In my free time, I enjoy reading, being active, and spending time in nature. I also love cooking and baking – I regularly try out new recipes. In addition, I have a strong interest in psychology and personal development.

I have experience with cooking, cleaning, gardening, animal care and childcare. In the Netherlands, I worked in childcare for many years and I also have a background as a lifestyle coach. I’m passionate about nutrition and health, and I enjoy supporting others in these areas – whether it’s practical help or just having a good conversation :)

So far, I’ve completed three different Workaway experiences: at a retreat centre in the Netherlands, on a gardening project in Ireland, and now at an animal sanctuary in Portugal. I’m open to all kinds of work, such as hospitality, animal care, painting or gardening. What matters most to me is having the opportunity to learn and continue to grow.

I’m a loyal and dedicated person, and when I commit to something, I give it my all. I’m looking forward to new adventures and meaningful connections!
