Hi! We are Mounia and Judith, two 19-year old girls who want to travel and explore the world together after our graduation. Now that we are done with school we want to try out new things, discover new places and finally do something just for ourselves! We are childhood best friends but unfortunately we live quite far away from eachother: Judith in Stockholm and Mounia in Vienna. Travelling together is the perfect chance for us to spend time with eachother and having your bestie with you makes everything more fun :)
We are new to Workaway but to us it seems like the perfect way to travel: becoming part of a bigger community, learning a new language, developing new skills and giving back while travelling! We are both very social and open people and would love to actually get to know people living in the country we are travelling. We believe community and exchange is very important to really get know a different culture. Judith having both a German and a Swedish parent and Mounia having both an Austrian and a Moroccan parent, we are used to different countries, cultures and languages and we can both easily adapt to new environments.
We are open to do many different tasks and would love to learn and develop some new skills! We are curious, motivated and committed. And we would love to become part of a community, solving problems and finding solutions together! Furthermore both of us are used to working with other peoples: Judith as a youth leader and babysitter (working with children) and Mounia doing different service jobs.
The country we want travel to is Portugal, because it seems so interesting and beautiful! We want to explore the nature, discover new food, get to know this culture and the people living there. So hopefully we will find a host where we can do all these things!
