Hello!
I am a newly graduated university student and new to Workaway, and want to take this chance to travel around Canada.
I speak Mandarin and English. I used to live in Toronto for four years for university study (and find it's toooo busy for me). My aim is to experience very different lifestyles and meet new people to learn more about communication and culture in my trips.
I am easy-going and love to learn new things and skills. I love animals. Some of my hobbies include cooking and baking, art and crafts, badminton, and swimming.

I have a bachelor's degree in architecture (it is more in design and creativity than in the technical aspects of building construction). And I hold a minor in visual arts.
I have attended many different volunteer works, and from each, I learned some new skills, such as tree planting with shovels (to assist local families who need labor), moving heavy objects with wheeled carts (for a non-profit book sale), cooking for large groups of people (on a school-organized trip), and so on. I always embrace opportunities to learn new skills and to improve myself.
I have hands-on experience caring for animals, being a cat owner. I love animals, and I adopted my cat six years ago, experiencing her delivery and taking care of her and her four kittens until they were old enough to be adopted by other families. I know about the responsibility and work needed to take good care of animals. I understand the importance of keeping a clean, safe, and loving environment for them.
I can teach Mandarin, my native language, and enjoy sharing my language and culture with others. As an international student, I believe I have developed good adaptability to new and very different environments. I am dependable and committed to completing tasks to the best of my ability.
Additionally, I have a passion for cooking; I attended two semesters at a professional Western cooking school as a hobby. But I mostly cook Chinese cuisines for myself.
