  • Description

    ------------- Juan ---------------------

Hey there! My name is Juan, and I come from Mexico and I´m currently studying in Germany.

I really enjoy projects that yield visible results.Studying Computer Science I often miss working on these environments. There's an sense of satisfaction that comes from witnessing the fruits of your labor I have been missing in recent times. Growing up, my family was deeply involved in permaculture projects, and we worked in our garden often; once annoyed by it, it's only recently that I've come to truly appreciate the joy of seeing the direct outcomes of working with soil and creating beautiful gardens. It's amazing how nurturing plants and watching them thrive can bring so much fulfillment.

I'm also passionate about working in education. There's something truly rewarding about being able to contribute to someone's learning and growth. Whether it's teaching a new skill or sharing knowledge, the opportunity to make a positive impact on someone's life fills me with happiness.

I will being a ERASMUS Semester in soon and me and my girlfriend hoping to get to know Spain a little bit beforehand, and hopefully help out with some interesting project!

I'm exited to be a part of this service and hopefully to connect with all of you.

    Saludos!

    Juan

    --------------- Luisa --------------------

Hi everyone! My name is Luisa, and I’m 27yo soul from Brazil. I am known for my grounded nature and being a really good listener, I love for exploring new places and meeting new people. Workaway has caught my attention as an opportunity to immerse myself in unique experiences, learn new skills, and connect with people from around the world. I love to hear stories and build new connections.

Growing up in Brazil, I was fortunate to be surrounded with nature. My parents instilled in me a love for the outdoors, and we often embarked on retreats and explored the country. My parents work with native communities, which means frequent travels to meet and support these incredible people.

Being a big sister has also shaped me in many ways. The experience has taught me lots of patience, and to acknowledge others' personal space and to respect their opinions. Currently, I work as a pet sitter and take on small side jobs while pursuing my studies. This has been amazing so far, but I’m excited to find a Workaway experience and see what the universe has in store for me.

    Workaway Expectations:
My motivation for joining Workaway is to expand my horizons. I am excited to learn new skills/languages and get to know different cultures.

I am open to various types of projects and eager to help wherever needed. Whether it's assisting with sustainable farming practices, engaging in community outreach, or caring for animals, I am ready to give my best.
